Феномен свободи в українських філософів романтиків М. Костомарова, П. Куліша і Т. Шевченка

Abstract

Розкрито особливості трактування феномену свободи у творах таких українських філософів-романтиків, як М. Костомаров, П. Куліш і Т. Шевченко. Всі твори філософів пройняті індивідуальним і глибоко особистісним відчуттям свободи. Природа феномену свободи у творах розкривається крізь призму романтичної аксіології. Обґрунтовано, що поняття свободи у філософів-романтиків як вияв абсолютної гідності, активності та вільного самовиявлення людини корелюється з поняттями відповідальності, добра, любові, милосердя, котрі випливають із його християнського світогляду. Доведено, що основою для національної ідентифікації українського народу у філософії М. Костомарова є його висока релігійність, традиційне несприйняття держави як форми панування одних людей над іншими, толерантність, відсутність прагнення до завоювання чужих земель, стійкі традиції громадського самоуправління та постійне прагнення до свободи. У чималій кількості творів Т. Шевченка герої обирають свободу власного волевиявлення, борються за «святе право» на свободу, справедливість і щастя, індивідуальне відчуття свободи є неповторним і глибоко особистісним. Природа феномена свободи розкривається крізь призму романтичної аксіології філософа. Так, поняття свободи як вияв абсолютної гідності, активності та вільного самовиявлення людини корелюється в Т. Шевченка з поняттями відповідальності, добра, любові, милосердя, котрі випливають із християнського світогляду. Будучи представником романтизму, П. Куліш обстоював ідею самостійності української нації, окремішності українського історичного процесу, який, на його думку, є втіленням вільнолюбного демократичного духу українського народу. Саме він вибудував власний україноцентричний світогляд. Осередком українських цінностей та розгортання народного духу вважав хутір. The peculiarities of the interpretation of the idea of freedom in the works of such Ukrainian romantic philosophers as M. Kostomarov, P. Kulish and T. Shevchenko are revealed. All the works of philosophers are imbued with individual and deep-personal sense of freedom. The nature of the phenomenon of freedom in their works is revealed through the prism of romantic axiology. It is substantiated that the notion of freedom in romantic philosophers, as a manifestation of absolute dignity, activity and free self-expression of man correlates with the notions of responsibility, goodness, love, mercy, which follow from his Christian worldview. It is proved that the basis for the national identifcation of the Ukrainian people in M. Kostomarov’s philosophy is its high religiosity, traditional rejection of the state as a form of domination of some people over others, tolerance, lack of desire to conquer foreign lands, stable traditions of public self-government and constant desire for freedom. In a large number of works by Taras Shevchenko, the heroes choose the freedom of their own will, fght for the “sacred right” to freedom, justice and happiness, their individual feeling of freedom is unique and deeply personal. The nature of the phenomenon of freedom is revealed through the prism of the romantic axiology of the philosopher. In particular, the concept of freedom, as a manifestation of absolute dignity, activity and free selfexpression of man is correlated in Taras Shevchenko with the concepts of responsibility, goodness, love, mercy, which follow from their Christian worldview. As a representative of romanticism, P. Kulish defended the idea of independence of the Ukrainian nation, the separation of the Ukrainian historical process, which, in his opinion, is the embodiment of the freedom-loving democratic spirit of the Ukrainian people. It was he who built his own Ukraine-centric worldview. He considered the hamlet to be the center of Ukrainian values and the development of the people’s spirit.
