Польсько-українські відносини у поглядах М. Грушевського

Abstract

Аналізується проблема польсько-українських відносин у Галичині часів М. Грушевського. Стверджується про те, що польська шляхта наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. відігравала дуже важливу роль в Галичині. Шляхта впливала на органи місцевого самоврядування, здійснювала земельну, освітню, виборчу реформи, впливала на формування бюджету. Отож, вся її політика була нажаль спрямована на те щоб затримати русинів в стані етнографічної маси і не дати розвинутися в них національної свідомості. Проте, М. Грушевський наполягає на тому, що незважаючи на чималу дискримінацію та полонізацію Галичина не втратила своєї ролі центру культурного розвитку України. Консолідацію українського народу, все ж вчений пов’язував із Великою Україною. The problem of Polish-Ukrainian relations in Galicia during the time of M. Hrushevskyi is analyzed. It is argued that the Polish nobility in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. played a very important role in Galicia. The nobility influenced local self-government bodies, carried out land, educational, electoral reforms, and influenced the formation of the budget. So, all her policies were unfortunately aimed at keeping the Rusyns in the state of the ethnographic mass and not allowing them to develop national consciousness. However, M. Hrushevskyi insists that, despite considerable discrimination and polonization, Galicia has not lost its role as the center of cultural development in Ukraine. Consolidation of the Ukrainian people, however, the scholar was associated with the Great Ukraine.
