Переваги та недоліки вивчення іноземних мов в умовах дистанційного навчання

Abstract

У статті визначено дистанційне навчання неодмінною складовою сучасної освіти, особливо у контексті вивчення іноземних мов, що ґрунтується на використанні як кращих традиційних методів для отримання знань, так і нових інформаційних та телекомунікаційних технологій, а також на принципах самоосвіти. В даній статті аналізується вплив дистанційного навчання на процес вивчення іноземних мов та висвітлюються основні недоліки, які можуть впливати на якість освіти та досягнення навчальних цілей, а також переваги, які сприяють ефективному вивченню та досягненню навчальних цілей студентів. Розглядаються такі аспекти, як обмежені можливості для практичного використання мови, відсутність безпосереднього контакту з викладачем та співрозмовниками, складнощі у самостійному навчанні та доступ до культурних знань. Головною метою вивчення будь-якої іноземної мови є здатність ефективно спілкуватися. У дистанційному навчанні це можна досягти шляхом використання різних комунікаційних засобів, таких як відеоконференції, чати, форуми тощо, що дозволяють студентам вільно висловлювати свої думки та практикувати мовлення. Зокрема, йдеться, про розвиток навичок самостійного навчання у дистанційній форматі, що велика увага приділяється самостійній роботі студентів. Вивчення іноземних мов вимагає постійної практики та вдосконалення. Через доступ до різних онлайн-ресурсів та матеріалів, здобувачі вищої освіти можуть самостійно вчитися і вдосконалювати свої навички у зручний для них час. Також здійснюється аналіз, щодо розширення культурних знань, а саме вивчення іноземних мов включає в себе і вивчення культури та історії іноземних країн. У дистанційному навчанні, студенти можуть мати доступ до онлайн-музеїв, виставок, фільмів та літератури, що допомагає краще зрозуміти культурну спадщину іншомовних народів. The article defines distance learning as an indispensable component of modern education, especially in the context of learning foreign languages, which is based on the use of both the best traditional methods for obtaining knowledge and new information and telecommunication technologies, as well as on the principles of selfeducation. This article analyzes the impact of distance learning on the process of learning foreign languages and highlights the main shortcomings that can affect the quality of education and the achievement of educational goals, as well as the advantages that contribute to the effective study and achievement of students’ educational goals. Aspects such as limited opportunities for practical use of the language, lack of direct contact with the teacher and interlocutors, difficulties in independent learning and access to cultural knowledge are considered. The main goal of learning any foreign language is the ability to communicate effectively. In distance learning, this can be achieved through the use of various communication tools such as video conferencing, chat rooms, forums, etc., which allow students to freely express their thoughts and practice speaking. In particular, it is about the development of independent learning skills in a distance format, that much attention is paid to the independent work of students. Learning foreign languages requires constant practice and improvement. Through access to a variety of online resources and materials, higher education students can learn and improve their skills at their own convenience. An analysis is also carried out regarding the expansion of cultural knowledge, namely, the study of foreign languages includes the study of the culture and history of foreign countries. In distance learning, students can have access to online museums, exhibitions, films and literature, which helps to better understand the cultural heritage of the foreign-speaking peoples.
