The Thesis generalizes the military political thought of over-Dnieper immigration in Poland during the war. In particular, the place and role of the Ukrainian military historical community in the studies of the state unification process in Ukraine in the first halt of the XX century was analyzed; the documented basis for analysis of the sociopolitical conditions of community formation in 1920 and its reorganization in 1925 was revealed; the main grapes of the publication of community members and its periodical organs“Tabor “, “ Za Derzhavnist “ and others were systemized and characterized; the wideness and objectivity of the over Dnieper immigration separation of the Ukrainian People’s Republic History on the background of the liberation competitions of the whole Ukrainian people in 1917–1920 was analyzed; not enough studies by immigration aspects, events, phenomena and processes whion require further historiographial and archeographical examination were underlined. У результаті дослідження визначено здобутки, прорахунки та суспільну значимість інституції. The dissertation highlights the activities of the Ukrainian Institute National Home in Lviv within the context of the public life of Halychynas Ukrainians at the mid-19th century through the early 20th century. The author has analyzed the reasons and circumstances of the establishment of the Institute, its legal status, the powers of ruling boards, social composition and financial state. The foundation of the National Home resisted Polish cultural dominance in the region and certified the wish of the Ukrainian community to identify their national separateness. Initial its task was to consolidate Ukrainians in Halychyna and preserve their national identity in a significant historical period when the national movement of Halychynas Ukrainians acquired new organizational forms. A great attention is paid to the worldview of the participants of the National Home that was formed under conditions of the crystallization of Ukrainian national identity in Halychyna. Reasons and peculiarities inside the Institute are elucidated. The history of the Institute reflected complicated transformations within their self-consciousness. The author explains the evolution of the ideological background of the National Home from Old Ruthenian to Russophile, the participation of its members in the rite movement, discussions concerning Ukrainian orthography and history. The key constitutes of the National Home ideology were local patriotism, traditionalism / conservatism, worldview fragmentation ( the absence of a systematic programme), Austrophilism and Pan-Russism. Under the auspices of Russophiles, the National Home turned into a stronghold of the Common Russian idea which was rooted in the past and idealized the historical tradition of Kyivan Rus. The cultural and educational activities of the National Home the establishing of a library and museum, the sponsorship of high schools and girls boarding house, scholarships for talented youth. The Institute participated in launching a set of educational, artistic and academic establishments that were sometimes the first organization of the kind in the region. The National Home collaborated with the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Metropolis in supporting the spiritual and educational progress in Halychyna. This is verified by the construction and patronage of the Holy Transfiguration Church. The dissertation also demonstrates the cooperation with other cultural and academic institutions, mainly of the Russophile trend, which the Instituted granted financial aid to or leased its premises to. The cooperation with more nationally-oriented organization was not so fruitful. The Russophile leaders, actually, caused artificial obstacles for accepting new Ukrainophile members. The dissertation studies the peculiarities of military and scientific activity of I. Karpynets in the context of military and political as well as social processes in the period of the Ukrainian revolution and in the Inter-War Period of the XX century. It characterizes the influence of political factors on the outlook formation of the prominent historian, describes his involvement in military operations during the Ukrainian-Polish War of 1918-1919, defines the peculiarities of his studying at the Ukrainian Secret University (Lviv) and Jan Kazimierz University of Lviv. The dissertation discloses scientific and organizational work of I. Karpynets in T. The dissertation explored fundamental principles of philosophy of history of Blessed Augustine in the conteхt of world historical philosophical tradition. The analysis of ancient and medieval interpretation of historical process is carried out. There are grounded the main historiosophic concepts of the Father of Church. The principal positions of the augustinian conception of "two Cities, the earthly and heavenly” are explored. The peculiarities of his solution of the problem of time are studied in the context of theaugustinian historiosophic reflection.
