The dissertation is devoted to the development of conceptual, theoretical-methodological and methodological-applied principles of security activities of trade enterprises. The work clarified the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the study by clarifying the content and establishing the relationship between such basic concepts as "security", "economic security of the state", "national interests", "stability of the economic system", "economic security of the enterprise", "activity", which made it possible to develop the etymological-semantic component of the theoretical-methodological base of the security activity of trading enterprises. The methodological basis of the enterprise's security activities was formed on the basis of systemic and synergistic approaches, which forms the necessary basis for tracking and forecasting fluctuations that are the consequences of the materiality of the influence of destabilizing factors (risks and threats), establishing the moment of approaching the bifurcation point and developing the desired attractors, thanks to which the stability and controllability of processes is maintained and the integrity of the enterprise as a system is preserved. The scientific and practical principles of managing the security activities of the enterprise are proposed, which, based on the results of determining the level of fluctuations of the main indicators of the enterprise's activity ("acceptable", "moderate", "critical"), involve the use of one of the technologies, i.e. "anticipatory", "adaptive" or "anti-crisis", which makes it possible to plan and implement security measures with maximum efficiency to counter threats and create conditions for using new opportunities that arise due to the high dynamism of the operating environment. A model of the temporal transformation of the conditions of operation and the principles of the implementation of security activities by trade enterprises was developed, which made it possible to specify the advantages and disadvantages of the growth of the share of electronic commerce and to create the necessary informational basis for progress in security activities. The methodological principles of the formation and development of the security activity management system of trade enterprises are proposed, which builds a holistic vision of the phasing of creation and development conditions in order to ensure the effective performance of the tasks assigned to security subjects. A scientific and practical approach to the creation of a system of information and analytical support for the security activities of trading enterprises has been developed, which involves clarifying the principles of satisfying the information needs of security entities and taking into account typical and specialized business processes of a trading enterprise, which became the basis for horizontal (informational and analytical component) and vertical (subsystem of a lower order – accounting and analytical support) structuring with the specification of the content of the organizational and functional stage of formation to simplify practical application in the conditions of any trade enterprise. A theoretical-practical approach to determining the importance of improving accounting and analytical support tools for the security of trading enterprises was formed, which made it possible, based on the initial conditions regarding the complete satisfaction of the information needs of security subjects and the specifics of the activities of trade enterprises, to determine those accounting and analytical support tools, that require maximum attention in improvement due to changes in resource provision and adjustment of the program for the development of security activities of the trading enterprise. A technology for evaluating the effectiveness of security activities of a trading enterprise has been developed, which creates the necessary information basis for monitoring the progress of security activities and developing operational, tactical and strategic measures to increase efficiency. An organizational and economic mechanism for managing the security activities of commercial enterprises has been formed, which provides for the exercise of managerial influence on security objects through the use of methods, methods, forms and tools relevant at a certain moment, which, when grouped in the form of an organizational and economic component, ensure effective implementation tasks assigned to security subjects. The scientific and methodical principles of assessing the security activities of trade enterprises were formed, which are based on the application of the BOCR method, which made it possible, based on the current security situation and the specifics of the functioning of trade enterprises (regarding the scale of activity and the dominance of the traditional or electronic trade model), characterize personnel, information-analytical, structural-functional and technical support according to the established criteria (Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, Risks) regarding the priority for security subjects and the difficulty in meeting such needs and, based on this, to form an analytical basis for modernizing the principles of conducting security activities. The theoretical-methodological basis for the intellectualization of the security activity of a trading enterprise has been formed, which, thanks to the application of the IDEF0 functional modeling method, determines the content and phasing of the implementation of a set of measures that enable the development of mental abilities for the purpose of generating and effectively applying knowledge, as well as improving the technological base, which collectively contributes to the strengthening of the intellectual activity of the participants of the security process with their performance at a qualitatively higher level of tasks related to maintaining the economic security of the enterprise for the development and realization of economic interests. A socio-economic mechanism for motivating the intellectualization of the security activities of trade enterprises has been developed, which is focused on the elimination of contradictions in economic and social interests and stimulation (based on the use of a combination of material and non-material incentives in accordance with the internal motives of subjects and security objects) to self-motivation and motivation to exchange knowledge, which in general creates favorable conditions for updating the necessary knowledge of safety activities based on taking into account the actual needs and relevant motives of all participants in the safety process. A methodological approach to evaluating the effectiveness of the motivational mechanism for the intellectualization of the security activities of a trade enterprise has been formed, which serves as feedback, as a basis for clarifying (correcting) the tactics and strategy of applying stimulation methods in accordance with the real security situation. Scientific and applied aspects of evaluating regional peculiarities of formation of information and analytical support for entrepreneurship development are regarded in this dissertation. This work includes scientific and methodological premises for improvement of information and analytical support in management of current and future development of entrepreneurship in the region, researched modern practice and peculiarities of its organization, and provides directions for improvement. Resource, infrastructure, industrial, labor, and other evaluation indicators of regional potential as well as integral indicators of entrepreneurial environment evaluation, effectiveness of economic activity, and others are the main components of information and analytical provision for entrepreneurial activities in the region. It is suggested to compute a group of hierarchically related statistics for evaluation of the level of entrepreneurial activities – integral indexes, which would allow estimating with certainty the state of these activities in various regions. In particular these indexes are: integral index for evaluation of enterprise organization; integral index for evaluation of investment activities; integral index for evaluation of effectiveness of the economic activities. Dissertation encompasses methodological provisions for integral evaluation and management of entrepreneurship development in the region. The work contains evaluation methods of regional investment advantages. It is recommended to use the system of group indexes to determine regional investment advantages. Availability and formation of investment advantages in a region are important premises for entrepreneurial development. In order to evaluate investment advantages of the regions it is suggested to compute integral index that includes: integral index of regional industrial potential, integral index of regional communication infrastructure, integral index of regional educational potential, integral index of regional commercial infrastructure. This dissertation explains the rationale for creation of Regional Center for Information and Analytical Support of Entrepreneurship (CIASE) in the western region of Ukraine.
