Наркоманія серед неповнолітніх як соціальна проблема

Abstract

Досліджено проблеми поширення наркоманії серед неповнолітніх в Україні. Виокремлено психосоціальні та медичні наслідки вживання наркотичних речовин. Проаналізовано взаємозв’язок уживання наркотичних речовин і злочинності. Наведено деякі ознаки сучасного стану наркозалежних неповнолітніх. Акцентовано на віктимогенності осіб, які допускають немедичне вживання наркотичних засобів. The article deals with the study of the problems of the spread of drug addiction among minors in Ukraine. Psychosocial and medical consequences of the use of narcotic substances are investigated. An analysis of the interrelation between the use of narcotic substances and crime is carried out. Some features of the modern state of juvenile drug addicts are given. A great attention is paid to the victimization of persons who allow the non-medical use of narcotic drugs. It is proved that the social situation of young people is one of the main indicators of the development level of a society. Addiction is a negative social phenomenon, which leads to negative consequences for certain sectors of the population as well as for the State as a whole. The main reasons for the spread of drug use on the territory of our State should include: a serious crisis in the various spheres of public life, deterioration of the socio-economic and socio-psychological state of a number of population groups, family unreliability, crisis of school and vocational education, prolonged labour unemployment, disorganization of minors’ leisure, a significant number of migrant workers who go abroad and, as a consequence, the juveniles remain unattended in our society, the emergence of the so-called social orphans. Drug addiction, as a social disease, has threatening consequences, especially for young people. The consequences of the use of narcotic substances are very different: from psychosocial to medical. They are overdose, increased risk of suicide, psychiatric diseases, cardiovascular complications, complications of pregnancy and other pathology. For successful work concerning counteraction to the spread of drug addiction among minors it is necessary to join the efforts of educational, medical and social institutions, to improve the educational work in schools and to raise the qualification level of the police in general and the juvenile prevention in particular.
