Trends in the development of higher education in Ukraine: the search for compromises (Web of Sciencе)

Abstract

У статті аналізується питання якості вищої освіти в Україні, перспективи її модернізації та проблемні аспекти. Зазначено, що важливим кроком у забезпеченні якості вищої освіти в Україні було запровадження технологій прийому на навчання на основі результати зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання (що об’єктивно мінімізує корупційні ризики). Цей процес дозволив обдарованій молоді вільно вибрати спеціальності та освітні заклади). Створено Національне Агентство забезпечення якості вищої освіти як самостійний постійно діючий колегіальний орган, впроваджено механізм Єдиного державного кваліфікаційного іспиту. Тим не менш, схоже, що належний рівень якості вищої освіти в Україні поки не було досягнуто. The article analyzes the quality of higher education in Ukraine, prospects for its modernization and problematic aspects. It was noted that an important step in ensuring the quality of higher education in Ukraine was the introduction of admission technologies based on the results of external independent evaluation (which objectively minimizes corruption risks). This process allowed gifted youth free to choose specialties and educational institutions). The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education was established as an independent permanent collegial body, and the mechanism of the Unified State Qualification Exam was introduced. Nevertheless, it seems that the proper level of quality of higher education in Ukraine has not yet been achieved.
