Some historical preconditions of the culturological training at the establishments of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

Abstract

В сучасних умовах війського стану в Україні, появи нових захворювань, зокрема Covid-19, складної криміногенної ситуації роль правоохоронних органів у захисті соціальної та особистої безпеки громадян зростає. Водночас постає проблема життєвої працездатності поліцейських під час виконання службових та професійних завдань. Ніхто не може заперечувати, що сучасний поліцейський повинен володіти такими культурними та етнічними рисами характеру, як емпатія, чесність, справедливість, принциповість, співчуття, здатність до адаптації, критичне мислення, він повинен бути самостійним, гнучким, стриманим і тактовним, людино- орієнтовані, активні слухачі, чудові командні гравці та лідери, володіють хорошими комунікативними здібностями тощо. Усі ці риси характеру та м’які навички можна сформувати за допомогою культурологічної підготовки курсантів. На нашу думку, цей процес особистісного розвитку та становлення майбутнього офіцера правоохоронних органів залежить від історичного розвитку системи освіти у закладах вищої освіти МВС України як соціального інституту, від соціально-економічні умови здійснення професійної діяльності з урахуванням ролі майбутніх правоохоронців як суб’єктів полікультурного середовища. Under modern conditions of the military situation in Ukraine, appearance of the new diseases, namely Covid-19, complex criminogenic situation the role of the law enforcement organs in protecting the social and personal safety of the citizens increases. At the same time the problem of the vital capacity of the police officers during carrying out their service and professional tasks arises. Nobody can deny that a modern police officer must have such cultural and ethnical character traits and soft skills as empathy, honesty, justice, integrity, compassion, adaptability, critical thinking, they should be self-driven, flexible, discreet and tactful, people-oriented, active listeners, excellent team players and leaders, have good communicative skills, etc. All these character traits and soft skills can be formed by means of the culturological training of the cadets. In our opinion this process of the personal development and formation of the future officer of the law enforcement organs depends on the historical development of the educational system at the establishments of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a social institute, on the social and economic conditions of carrying out the professional activity taking into account the role of the future law enforcement officers as the subjects of the multicultural environment.
