Емпіричне вивчення взаємозв'язку психологічних механізмів захисту та професійної ідентичності майбутнього правоохоронця

Abstract

Здійснено емпіричний аналіз взаємозв’язку професійної ідентичності та психологічних захистів майбутнього міліціонера. Розглянуто психологічний захист як систему захисних функцій організму з протидії впливу зовнішніх і внутрішніх факторів, що регулює свідомі і несвідомі шари психіки особистості, а професійну ідентичність – як усвідомлення своєї приналежності до конкретної професії. На емпіричному рівні встановлено, що показник професійної ідентичності позитивно взаємодіє з комунікативними захистами, а негативно – з первинними захисними механізмами. In the article the empirical analysis of the relationship of professional iden-tity and psychological protection of the future law enforcement worker is made. The content of the concepts of «professional identity» and «psychological defense» are given too. The proposed description of the content of identity allows its penetration to all levels of socio-psychological and subjective psychological reality. The author examines the psychological defense system as carts functions to counter the influence of external and internal factors regulating the conscious and unconscious layers of the psyche of the individual and professional identity – as the awareness of belonging to a particular profession. The function of psychological defense is the «removal» of the sphere of consciousness injuring negative personal experiences. Psychological defense as a special psychological phenomenon was initially studied in freudianism who interpreted it basing on the primacy of the unconscious, instinctive (increasingly sexual) start, which in a collision with «protective mecha-nisms» becomes conscious I (internal «censorship»), and undergoes various trans-formations (repression, sublimation, etc.). Treatment of psychological defenses in the areas of psychology is versatile. Neofreudianism determines the need to imple-ment psychological defenses in the event of the subject’s feelings of inferiority, the threat of value and importance of the individual. Personalistic theory (personalism) considers psychological defense as consequence of differences in the structure I, the ultimate goal is a protective process of reaching an agreement between the actual components of consciousness and self-concept. In Soviet psychology the problem of psychological defense was considered from the standpoint of the Marxist theory of personality. It was proved at the empirical level the relationship between professional identity and protection mechanisms in future police officers. In particular, it was found that the rate of professional identity interacts positively with communication protection (peacefulness, avoidance, aggression) and negatively – from primary protective mechanisms (projection, denial).
