Демографічні фактори розвитку економіки Львівщини

Abstract

Окреслено важливість людського капіталу для економічного розвитку. Взаємозв’язок обсягу роздрібного товарообігу на одного жителя та демографічного навантаження проаналізовано за допомогою графічного методу, рангової кореляції (за коефіцієнтом рангової кореляції Спірмена) та статистичних групувань. За результатами здійсненого аналізу визначено демографічні фактори, які гальмують економічний розвиток. Запропоновано способи скорочення показника демографічного навантаження (нарощування чисельності населення у віці 15–64 роки). Визначено роль транспортного та фактора географічного положення у соціально-економічному розвитку районів Львівської області. Окрім того, проаналізовано некоректне подання необхідної для досліджень інформації у статистичних збірниках, зокрема щодо вилучення окремих міст із загального інформаційного простору районів, до яких вони належать, що і викривляє представлені дані. At the article there are marked that regardless of the socio-political system of the country, its effective or potential critical development of labor was and is not only an important part of the resource potential of the country, industry or individual functional entity, but the main productive force of the development of social production. There were studied the views of some scientists to the value of human capital for economic development at the article. The quality of human capital has been estimated by the coefficient of demographic burden (which was defined as the population aged 65 and over per 1000 population aged 15–64 years). The level of economic environment is viewed through indicators of retail turnover of enterprises per capita and the number of small businesses per 10 thousand of population. In addition, there was analyzed incorrect supply of information needed for research in statistical digests, including the removal of some cities from common information space to which they belong, which distorts the data. Relationship of retail turnover per capita and population pressure were analyzed by using the graphical method, rank correlation (by Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient) and statistical groupings. By the results of the analysis the demographic factors that impede economic development were defined. Ways of reducing population pressure index (increase in population aged 15–64 years) were proposed. The role of the transport factor and factor of geographical position in the socio-economic development were defined for Lviv oblast. The results of the analysis concluded that the best demographic condition of population of some areas of Lviv region stimulates higher business activity and mobility, which ultimately is reflected in the index of retail turnover per capita, which accumulates the socio-economic growth in some areas of region.
