Встановлено, на якому рівні перебуває сучасний стан самоорганізації народу й її вплив на формування громадянського суспільства. Охарактеризовано процеси самоорганізації громадянського суспільства. The article is devoted to the study of the nation’s self-organization and civil society, their correlation and characteristics of the relationship. It is revealed that the synergetic approach is the most productive for the formation of civil society. A new style of thinking and knowledge that leads to self-cognition, self-development and self-realization of each citizen, is created based on the synergetic approach. One of the central concepts of synergetics is the concept of self-organization of the system, which is considered as a process of arrangement, emergence or transformation of the structures in an open system. It is determined that self-organization is one of the manifestations of spontaneous processes in the society or groups which arises as the result of purposeful actions within the framework of wider social systems. It has been found out that self-organization plays a constructive role as a factor of strengthening aimed management influence, and it becomes a destructive factor in case of the danger of the predominance of secondary needs over strategic goals of society, individual, group, departmental interests over social ones. The author reveals the basic functions of the nation’s self-organization and civil society, which should be formed not with the help of state structures, but on the basis of bodies of nation’s self-organization, which serve as a peculiar foundation for the construction of a democratic legal state. It is established at what level there is the current state of self-organization of the people and what is its influence on the formation of civil society, their correlation and peculiarities of relations in the modern conditions of the development of the legal state. The study of the nation’s self-organization in modern science of law has allowed to distinguish three levels of self-organization with respect to its subjects, in particular, individual, collective and nation-wide. The level of correlation and the peculiarities of the relationship between the nation’s self-organization and civil society are confirmed by the opinion of the respondents who answered positively on the question whether the country needs a strong civil society. The processes of self-organization of civil society are characterized in the article.
