Історія семіотики: від знаків речей до суспільних знакових систем

Abstract

Автор демонструє історію становлення і розвитку семіотики як науки, що вивчає знаки та знакові системи: від виникнення ідеї про виокремлення знаку до розгалуження цієї ідеї на окремі напрями, що досліджують природу знаків, їх структуру, види, способи функціонування у суспільстві тощо. The article deals with the history of the formation and development of semiotics as a science which studies the signs and sign systems: from the emergence of the idea about the separation of the sign to the division of this idea into separate tendencies, which explore the nature of the signs, their structure, types and methods of the operation in society.
