Забезпечення економічної безпеки підприємства (ESE) у багатьох випадках залежить від належної організації інформаційного забезпечення процесу прийняття управлінських рішень керівним підприємством-менеджером. Організаційно-неправові шляхи: невиконання вимог законодавства та затримки з прийняттям необхідних правових та нормативних положень в інформаційній галузі; незаконне обмеження доступу до документів. Дуже важливою є діяльність конкурентної розвідки підприємств, зовнішній та внутрішній моніторинг морального стану команди, виявлення факторів ризику, своєчасне отримання та обробка інформації; співпраця з правоохоронними органами та органами безпеки дуже важлива для контррозвідувального підрозділу підприємства. Тільки систематичний та комплексний підхід до безпеки підприємств призведе до вироблення єдиного підходу та механізму захисту бізнесу.
