Роль та значення іншомовної комунікації для фахівця у галузі права

Abstract

Стаття присвячена визначенню ролі та значення професійної комунікації іноземною мовою для майбутніх юристів. У статті наголошено, що фахівець-юрист повинен не тільки вміти спілкуватися іноземною мовою, а володіти навичками і вміннями професійного спілкування іноземною мовою, до складу якого входить передусім ведення ділових усних та письмових переговорів англійською мовою. Розкрито поняття та основні компоненти професійної іншомовної комунікативної компетенції. Схарактеризовано усну та письмову форми формування вмінь професійної комунікації. The article is devoted to defining the role and importance of professional communication in a foreign language for future lawyers. The article emphasizes that a lawyer should not only be able to communicate in a foreign language, but also have the skills and abilities of professional communication in a foreign language, which includes primarily conducting oral and written business negotiations in English. The concepts and main components of professional foreign language communicative competence are revealed. Oral and written forms of professional communication skills are characterized. It is proved that future lawyers need to have a competent, professional, logically structured language, be able to conduct business negotiations using appropriate methods of verbal communication, prepare public speeches, use certain forms of discussion, discuss problems of general scientific and professional nature. The future lawyer should know the norms of a modern foreign language; use professional terminology; communicate, appropriately using the actual foreign language vocabulary; work with special (professional) literature; freely use different functional styles and their subtypes in professional use; replenish and actively use personal terminology dictionary; navigate in typical and atypical situations of professional communication; have spontaneous speech skills. The formation of professional speech is a continuous process, which is important to stimulate in classes to acquire speech practice. An important component of professional speech is the formation of socio-cultural competence. After all, it is the sociocultural component aimed at understanding and interpreting various aspects of culture and language behavior in a professional environment. Teaching a foreign language we must emphasize not only the study of cultural features of the country whose language is studied, the specific national characteristics of the culture, patterns of national behavior, but also to form our own national identity.
