Особливості перекладу реалій

Abstract

У статті розглянуто різні класифікації стосовно способів відтворення реалій. Переклад слів­реалій – одна з найбільших труднощів, через відсутність еквіваленту у мові перекладу, а також необхідність передати не тільки семантичне значення реалії, а й конотативне (національний та історичний колорит). До уваги беруться погляди українських та закордонних дослідників, але особлива увага надається класифікації теоретиків перекладу С. Влахова та С. Флоріна. Вони пропонують наступні способи передачі реалій: транскрипція (транслітерація) та переклад (заміна):введення неологізму, приблизний переклад та контекстуальний переклад. Наведено приклади використання деяких засобів передачі реалій. Подано визначення Р. П. Зорівчак терміну «реалія». На думку вченої, реалія виступає своєрідним «підводним каменем», створюючи труднощі перекладачам. Саме тому під час перекладу реалій перекладачі повинні бути особливо уважними. Немає загального правила для перекладу реалій, перекладач повинен врахувати всі позитивні та негативні сторони при виборі способу передачі тої чи іншої реалії. The article deals with various classifications regarding the ways of rendering realia. Translation of realia is one of the biggest difficulties, due to the lack of equivalent in the target language and the need to convey not only the semantic meaning of realia, but also connotative (national and historical coloring). The views of Ukrainian and foreign researchers are taken into account, but special attention is paid to the classification of translation theorists S. Vlahov and S. Florin. They offer the following ways of conveying realia: transcription (transliteration) and translation (substitution): introduction of a neologism, approximate translation and contextual translation. Examples of the use of some ways of rendering realia are given. The definition of R. P. Zorivchak of the term «realia»is given. According to the scientist, realia, due to the absence of appropriate denotations in the target language, act as «reefs», creating difficulties for translators. That is why translators must be extremely careful dealing with realia. There is no general rule for translating realia, the translator must take into account all the pros and cons when choosing a way to render the realia into the target language.
