Abstract

У статті досліджено засоби навчання іноземної мови, які мають важливе значення для забезпечення повноцінної та ефективної організації діяльності здобувачів вищої освіти із оволодіння іншомовною діяльністю. Процес навчання реалізується завдяки зусиллям двох його учасників – викладача і студента. Щодо керування цим процесом, визначення його стратегії і тактики, тут головна роль належить викладачеві. Специфіка навчання іноземної мови, на відміну від інших предметів, полягає в тому, що викладачеві потрібно сформувати у студента новий стереотип мовленнєвого спілкування додатково до рідномовного, який вже є. The article examines the means of teaching a foreign language, which are important for ensuring the full and effective organization of higher education students' activities to master foreign language activities. The learning process is realized through the efforts of its two participants - the teacher and the student. As for managing this process and determining its strategy and tactics, the main role belongs to the teacher. The specificity of teaching a foreign language, unlike other subjects, is that the teacher needs to form a new stereotype of speech communication in addition to the native language that is already present. It is characterized that the success of a specialist’s professional activity to a significant degree will depend not only on his professional competence but also on personal creative abilities. The author defines the concept of professional creativity as the professional quality of a specialist’s personality, based on individual creative abilities and manifests itself in an original approach to professional tasks, generating new productive ideas, and the ability to solve problem situations. A feature of teaching a foreign language in higher school, in contrast to the middle level, is that it should be professionally oriented. A professionally oriented approach to teaching a foreign language is aimed at studying professional vocabulary and terminology, focused on reading literature in the speciality and free communication in professional activity. The structural elements of professionally oriented teaching of a foreign language include communication skills by type of speech activity (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), language knowledge and skills, and sociocultural knowledge and skills. It is determined that professionally oriented teaching of foreign languages is effective when integrated with special disciplines of the vocational training cycle. Therefore, professionally oriented training, subject to integration with special disciplines, teaching methods aimed at solving professional problems, imitation of professional activity and the manifestation of creative abilities will help develop students' professional creativity.
