Громадсько-політична діяльність Юліана Романчука (1842-1932): автореферат

Abstract

У дисертації на основі архівних та опублікованих джерел здійснено комплексне дослідження громадсько-політичної діяльності Юліана Романчука. Відтворено основні віхи його біографії, а саме наголошено на основних здобутках у Галицькому крайовому сеймі та Державній Раді Австро-Угорської імперії, охарактеризовано організаційно-політичну діяльність в УНДП, проаналізовано участь в національно-визвольних змаганнях 1914–1923 рр. Визначено місце Ю. Романчука в громадсько-політичному та національно-культурному житті Західної України в останній третині ХІХ – першій третині ХХ ст. On the basis of archival and published sources the public and political activities of Yulian Romanchuk are studied in the dissertation. The main stages of his biography are reconstructed, in particular, his main achievements in the Galician provincial diet and Austrian State Council are highlighted, organizational and political activities in the Ukrainian National Democratic party are characterized, and his participation in the national-liberation struggle of 1914–1923 is analyzed. The author defines the role of Yulian Romanchuk in socio-political and national-cultural life of Western Ukraine in the last third of the nineteenth century and first third of the twentieth century.
