Роль і місце лінгвокраїнознавcтва у навчанні іноземної мови аспірантів (ад’юнктів) у нелінгвістичній аспірантурі (ад’юнктурі)

Abstract

У статті досліджуються можливі способи застосування лінгвокраїнознавчих знань здобувачами освітньо-наукового ступеня «доктор філософії» у процесі навчання іноземної мови в нелінгвістичній аспірантурі, що сприяє збагаченню їхньої мовної компетенції, допомагає краще розуміти та взаємодіяти з культурою та мовою іншої країни, що є важливим аспектом їхнього професійного та наукового розвитку. Зазначено, що одночасне дослідження мови і культури дозволяє вдало поєднувати мовні явища з елементами країнознавства, коли мовні явища є не тільки засобами комунікації, але й засобами знайомства здобувачів з новою для них дійсністю, і такий підхід є інноваційним у підготовці фахівців-докторів філософії. Підкреслено, що застосування лінгвокраїнознавчого аспекту, який є невід’ємною частиною процесу навчання іноземних мов у закладах вищої освіти, відіграє суттєву роль у сучасному світі, оскільки він уможливлює забезпечення комунікативної компетенції у міжнародній комунікації, формування міжкультурної та національно-культурної компетенцій, отримання культурознавчої інформації з мовних одиниць, формування компетенцій академічної грамотності, підвищення мотивації, пізнавальної активності до навчання іноземної мови, розвиток особистості, її індивідуальності, інтелектуального потенціалу, критичного мислення, підвищення виховного та освітнього потенціалу дисципліни «Іноземна мова», збереження та укріплення соціальної стабільності в сучасному суспільстві. Охарактеризовано культурну грамотність – розуміння дискурсу або культури як одного з основних аспектів академічної грамотності. Зосереджено увагу на тому, що аналіз мовних особливостей тексту дозволяє зрозуміти, які культурні та історичні контексти відображені в мові твору, а вивчення культурних аспектів у тексті допомагає аспірантам (ад’юнктам) зрозуміти, які ідеї, цінності та норми відображені в тексті. Наведено приклади кількох уривків оригінальних наукових юридичних текстів англійською мовою, які містять автентичний матеріал, з лінгвокраїнознавчим коментарем культурно значущої лексики. The article deals with the possible means of using knowledge of the linguistic and country studies by the post graduates taking the non-linguistic postgraduate course in the process of learning a foreign language that enables to enrich their language competence, helps to understand and interact with culture and language of the other country better, which is an important aspect of their professional and scientific development. It is stated that the simultaneous investigation of language and culture helps to combine the linguistic phenomena with the elements of country studies successfully when the language phenomena are not only the means of communication, but also the means of getting acquainted with the new reality, and such an approach is an innovative one in training the future PhD. It is underlined that the usage of the linguistic and country studies plays an important role in the modern world, because it enables the communicative competence in the international communication, the formation of the intercultural and the nationalcultural competences, getting the cultural information from the linguistic units, the formation of the competences of the academic literacy, the raising of the motivation and cognitive activity in learning the foreign language, the development of a personality, their individuality, intellectual potential, critical thinking, of the educational and up-bringing potential of the discipline “Foreign language”, the preservation and strengthening of the social stability in the modern society. The cultural literacy – one of the main aspects of the academic literacy is characterized. The analysis of the language peculiarities of a text helps to understand which cultural and historical contexts are reflected in the language of the text, and learning the cultural aspects in the text enables the post-graduates to understand which ideas, valuables and norms are reflected in the text. The examples of several passages of the original scientific legal texts in the English language that contain the authentic material and the linguistic and country studies commentaries of the culturally significant vocabulary are given.
