Дослідження синдрому професійного вигорання у працівників Національної поліції України

Abstract

Досліджено проблему формування професійного вигорання у працівників Національної поліції України. Розкрито зміст, симптоматику та чинники синдрому професійного вигорання. Відображено основні результати емпіричного дослідження рівнів розвитку професійного вигорання у працівників поліції та їхнього зв’язку з індивідуально-особистісними якостями. Наведено середні значення показників емоційного вигорання працівників з різним стажем служби, отриманих за методикою В. Бойка. The article is devoted to the problem of formation of professional burnout of the staff of the National Police of Ukraine. It was found that professional burnout is a complex of psychological and physiological disorders resulting from excessive emotional congestion, particularly in the process of professional activity. The factors of the syndrome of professional burnout in this group of workers are revealed. The study used the following methodical techniques: the method of diagnostics of the level of «emotional burnout» by V. Boyko; the method of determining mental «burnout» by O. Rukavishnikova; the method of determining the syndrome of «burnout» in the professions of system «a man – a man»; multifactorial personal questionnaire by R. Kettle (№ 105), (16PF – questionnaire). The basic results of empirical research of levels of police staff professional burnout development and their relationship to individual and personal qualities are outlined. As a result of empirical research it was found that the syndrome of emotional burnout among the majority of National Police workers is not formed (but the results are close to the stage of formation). The results of correlation proved that police officers who are experiencing professional burnout are characterized by such individual and personal qualities as internal tension, isolation, hesitation, low capacity for self-control and emotional lability. The development of professional burnout of the studied staff is detected because of component of «resistance». This report presents average indicator values of emotional burnout of employees with different work experience that were obtained by the method of V. Boyko. It was found that young workers with the experience of work from 0 to 3 years are subject to the greatest risk of emotional burnout. As a result of factor analysis three types of employees of the National Police: anxious and exhausted, morally disoriented and emotionally selective types were revealed.
