Дистанційне навчання іноземної мови у немовних закладах вищої освіти

Abstract

У статті визначено дистанційне навчання як нову організацію освіти, що ґрунтується на використанні як кращих традиційних методів отримання знань, так і нових інформаційних та телекомунікаційних технологій, а також на принципах самоосвіти. Виокремлено переваги та недоліки застосування дистанційного навчання в процесі вивчення іноземних мов. Визначено роль викладача та здобувачів вищої освіти в навчальному процесі. Зокрема, зазначено, що дистанційна освіта розширює й оновлює участь викладача у процесі навчання, робить його наставником-консультантом, який повинен координувати пізнавальний процес, постійно удосконалювати свій рівень, підвищувати творчу активність і кваліфікацію відповідно до нововведень та інновацій. The article defines distance learning as the organization of education, based on the use of both the best traditional methods of acquiring knowledge and new information and telecommunication technologies, as well as the principles of self-education. The advantages and disadvantages of using distance learning in the process of learning foreign languages are highlighted. The role of teachers and higher education receivers in the educational process is determined. In particular, it is noted that distance education expands and renews the teacherʼs participation in the learning process, makes him a mentorconsultant, who must coordinate the cognitive process, constantly improve his level, increase creativity and skills in accordance with innovations.
