Проблема правового виховання старшокласників в історії вітчизняної педагогічної думки другої половини ХХ століття

Abstract

У статті аналізуються наукові дослідження щодо правового виховання старшокласників в Україні у другій половині ХХ століття. З метою створення цілісної картини про стан дослідженості проблеми правового виховання опрацьовані джерела згруповано в рамках певних історичних періодів, які розкривають різні аспекти правового виховання. Перший період (50-і рр. – початок 90-х рр.) характеризується працями, в яких основна увага приділяється розробці теоретичних засад правового виховання учнівської молоді, його змісту, формулюванню його мети і завдань тощо. У працях другого періоду (з 1991 – до наших днів) обґрунтовуються механізми формування правової свідомості, правової культури особистості та морально-правової відповідальності; розглядаються педагогічні умови реалізації завдань правового виховання різних вікових категорій громадян тощо. The article analyzes scientific research works on legal education of senior pupils in Ukraine in the second half of the twentieth century. In order to create a complete picture of the state of legal education problems the scientific sources are grouped within specific historical periods that reveal different aspects of legal education. The first period (50-ies. – early 90’s.) is characterized by the works, which focus on the formation of theoretical foundations of legal education of youth, its content, the formulation of its goals and objectives as well as its methodical recommendations concerning the legal education of school youth, the development of methods, forms and means of legal education of senior pupils. However, it must be stated that the main drawback of the works of that period was the excessive impact of ideology and the complete subordination to the doctrines of communist party. In the works of the second period (1991 – up to the present) the mechanisms of forming the legal awareness and legal culture as well as the moral and legal responsibility of personality are grounded; the pedagogical conditions of realizing the objectives of legal education of citizens of different age groups are considered; the ways of interaction between family, school and internal affairs organs as to the legal education of pupils are defined; the problems of moral and legal responsibility of a teacher are analyzed. The majority of scientific works of the second period contain practical materials which can be applied to organizing and conducting the educational work at school. A great attention is also paid to theses in which the scientists ground the process of forming and developing the legal culture in the history of philosophic and pedagogical thought, create the model of legal education of senior pupils, reveal the perspectives of applying the positive experience of legal education of the period under study to present conditions etc.
