Державно-церковні відносини як експлікація дихотомії влади та суспільства у європейській філософії: монографія

Abstract

Монографію присвячено дослідженню, в якому відображаються тео- ретичні й практичні аспекти відносин між державою і церквою в аспекті дихотомії влади та суспільства. Переконливо доводиться, що формування громадянського суспільства не тільки пов’язане з принципами диференці- ації політики й життєвого світу, свободи віросповідання і віротерпимості (толерантності), але й виявляється їхнім іманентним інтелектуальним і духовним проявом у процесі формування демократичного політичного режиму й врядування. Спираючись на інтелектуальний досвід європейсь- кої філософії, пропонується теоретичне обґрунтування взаємозв’язку між розумінням людиною свого духовного буття та розбудовою свого життє- вого простору. Визначальну роль у європейській цивілізаційній історії віді- грала ідея поділу влади на земну і «небесну», яка завдяки теоретичній фі- лософії втілилася у принцип диференціації держави і суспільства. Для науковців, філософів, політологів, державних і релігійних діячів та усіх, хто цікавиться проблематикою відносин між державою і церквою. The monograph is devoted to research, which reflects the theoretical and practical aspects of relations between the state and the church in the aspect of the dichotomy of power and society. It is convincingly proved that the formation of civil society is not only related to the principles of differentiation of politics and the world of life, freedom of belief and religious tolerance, but is also their inherent intellectual and spiritual manifestation in the process of forming the democratic political regime and governance. Relying on the intellectual experience of the European philosophy, the theoretical substantiation of the relationship between the person’s understanding of his spiritual being and the development of his living space is proposed. A decisive role in the European civilizational history was played by the idea of division of power into the earthly and “heavenly”, which due to the theoretical philosophy embodied in the principle of differentiation of state and society. In the monograph for the first time in the Ukrainian philosophical discourse the scientific research of state-church relations as explication of the dichotomy of power and society in the light of the development of the European philosophy was carried out. In particular, the essence and specificity of social and philosophical approach to the phenomenon of state-church relations presented as the study of a special role of the church as a God-human institution that is not subordinate to the forces of the world, are defined. Such definition needed to point out that the church has not only a transcendental nature, but it is formed in the historical context of the relationship between the state and society. In its turn, the state, taking into account the influence on the normalization of social life, does not exist outside the interaction with the church either. For scholars, philosophers, political scientists, state and churchmen and all those who are interested in the issues of relations between the state and the church.
