Modern methods of teaching foreign languages in higher education institutions

Abstract

В статті досліджуються сучасні методики викладання іноземних мов у закладах вищої освіти; аналізуються сучасні тенденції розвитку методики викладання іноземних мов у вищій школі та визначаються сучасні методики викладання іноземних мов із використанням новітніх освітніх технологій. Питання використання інноваційних технологій в процесі викладання англійської мови з метою підвищення рівня володіння іноземними мовами та активізації навчального процесу у вищій школі стали предметом вивчення вітчизняних і зарубіжних науковців, фахівців з використання Інтернеттехнологій у викладанні англійської мови, які розглядають проблему ефективної реалізації сучасних тенденцій викладання мов на сучасному етапі розвитку освітньої галузі. В умовах реформування вищої школи розглянуто тенденцію змін освітніх технологій викладання іноземних мов. Навчання іноземним мовам теж поступово оновлюється через міждисциплінарної інтеграції, демократизації та економізації освіти спонукає до інновації складових викладання іноземних мов. В освіті продовжує розвиватися і надалі культурологічний або міжкультурний підхід у навчанні в рамках концепції «діалогу культур», з метою формування полімовної грамотності студентів. The article deals with modern methods of teaching foreign languages in institutions of higher education; modern trends in the development of foreign language teaching methods in higher education are analyzed and modern foreign language teaching methods using the latest educational technologies are determined. The issue of the use of innovative technologies in the process of teaching English with the aim of increasing the level of foreign language proficiency and activating the educational process in higher education has become the subject of study by domestic and foreign scientists, specialists in the use of Internet technologies in teaching English, who consider the problem of effective implementation of modern teaching trends languages at the current stage of educational development. In the conditions of the reform of the higher school, the trend of changes in the educational technologies of teaching foreign languages is considered. Teaching foreign languages is also gradually being updated due to interdisciplinary integration, democratization and economization of education, which encourages innovation in the components of foreign language teaching. In education, the cultural or intercultural approach to education continues to develop within the framework of the concept of "dialogue of cultures", with the aim of forming students' multilingual literacy.
